In our pursuit of greater energy efficiency and a smaller carbon footprint, we’ve implemented various steps.
Our newest initiative is our investment in a groundwater cooling system which significantly reduces our energy consumption – around 91% compared to the previous cooling system.
All forklifts in our facility are electricity-driven – these and the rest of our energy consumption is renewable from Danish wind power.
We source all our pallets and wooden cable drums from SBP-certified manufacturers. This ensures that only FSC© and PEFC-certified wood is used, meeting the highest standards of responsible forestry.
Additionally, our wooden cable drums adhere to ISPM15 standards set by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC). Our suppliers’ ISO14001 certification guarantees environmentally conscious practices, including REACH-conformity for all products and those of their suppliers.
We believe in maximizing the lifespan of our products. That’s why we prioritize the repair and reuse of cable drums whenever possible.
In 2024, we’re introduced GPS trackers on our cable drums in Europe, revolutionizing how we manage and reuse our drums.
This initiative benefits us and helps our customers locate and utilize drums efficiently, contributing to a more sustainable supply chain.
